With a days notice, we were surprised with a camp at our youth center. 8 days and 50 young women later, coworkers and Moroccan volunteers had pulled together to make it a success. The camp included games, music, theater, yoga and a fashion show along with english lessons and sessions on leadership, self esteem, and goal setting. While I am growing in many ways, perhaps it is the most in flexibility and improvisation. There is a word here "Depanage" meaning a tow truck in French. It is used to mean that 'we'll make it work,' and I've been consistently amazed at how, in the end, it works. However, I still hope for a chance to spend months, even weeks, in making something as good as the importance I place upon it.
