Hi there, we are Zach and Julie. Thanks for visiting our blog.
Zach is a 13th generation Floridian who loves surfing and skateboarding among lots of other things. Julie is an Idaho girl with an itch for new places and new experiences. We met around our second year in college, got married a year later, and have been living a dream ever since leaving pieces of our hearts in the places we've been and people we've met. We both graduated from BYU in Hawaii. Julie studied anthropology and peacebuilding. Zach studied peacebuilding and business.
We care about and work toward resolving conflict and building capacities for positive peace in our communities and organizations. Currently, we are serving in the U.S. Peace Corps in Morocco until March, 2015. Insha'allah, God willing, we will return to continue our graduate studies.
