We wanted to do something for our host families, so we spent a Sunday night making makla merikania-pizza and tacos! Don't judge the combination, or the origination of either. We were sampling.
The Peace Corps has three overarching goals in its mission to promote peace and friendship. The second goal is to share about American people and culture with others. Although they were all very nice in pretending to like everything, we don't think our family liked this part of America!
Highlight: When Abdelzack asked for a piece of Moroccan bread, opened it up, and put a slice of pizza along with guacamole, beans, and salsa inside.
